This policy explains how ShahGo LLC ("ShahGo", "we", "us") handles information you give us through shahgo.com, by phone, by text and in person. We keep it short and plain.
What information do we collect?
- Application details: your name, phone, email, date of birth, the delivery apps you use, your preferred start date, how you heard about us and any comments.
- Uploaded documents: a photo of your driver's license and a screenshot of your delivery-app account.
- Contact messages: your name, email, phone and message.
- At pickup: copies of your ID and proof of address, and the payment card you use for autopay (processed by our payment provider).
- Basic technical data: our web host may log your IP address and browser type for security and to prevent spam.
We do not ask for your Social Security number or full driver's license number on our website.
How do we use it?
- To review your rental application and contact you about it.
- To check your driving record (MVR) — only with your permission, which you give on the application form.
- To prepare your rental agreement, collect weekly payments, and handle tolls, tickets, maintenance and insurance claims.
- To answer your questions and keep our website secure.
Who do we share it with?
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- a driving-record or background-check provider, to complete the check you authorized;
- our insurance company, if needed for coverage or a claim;
- our payment processor, to run weekly autopay;
- toll authorities, police or courts, when the law requires it or for tickets and tolls during your rental.
How is my information sent and stored?
Our website uses HTTPS. When you submit a form, your information and uploads are sent by email to our business inbox and are not kept on the web server. We keep application records only as long as we need them to decide on your application and to meet legal and insurance requirements, then delete them.
Do you use cookies or tracking?
Our website does not use advertising cookies. Google Maps is loaded only if you tap to view the map; Google's own privacy policy applies to that map.
Will you text or call me?
We contact you by call, text or email about your application or rental. We do not send marketing texts without your consent. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
What are my choices?
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need it for your rental, legal or insurance reasons. Contact us using the details below.
Children
Our services are for adults age 25 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
